'Behind the Fortress' is het nieuwe indoor Metalfestival in Poppodium de Buze, te Steenwijk.
Waarom 'Behind the Fortress'? Dat is eigenlijk heel simpel aangezien het festival zich 'net naast de vestingwal van de stad Steenwijk bevindt.
Het idee achter 'Behind the Fortress' is dat er op deze dag onder andere diverse talentvolle Noord-Nederlandse Metalbands het podium zullen betreden.
Ook is het een goed moment om 'kennis' te maken met veel van het Noord-Nederlandse metal-talent.
